GP Earnings
Non-urgent advice: GP Earnings
Park Lane Surgery is a GP partnership. This is when a group of doctors work together to run a practice. They share the responsibilities, such as seeing patients, managing the clinic, and making decisions about how things are done. Each doctor, called a "partner," is part-owner of the practice and helps to make sure it runs smoothly. They also share the money the practice makes.
NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the Practice are made public, and the required disclosure is shown below. It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it does not take in to account how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other Practice.
The average pay for GPs working in Park Lane Surgery in the last financial year was £95,988 before tax and national insurance. This is for 3 full time GPs.
