Repeat Prescription Ordering

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR REPEAT MEDICATION

We stopped accepting telephone requests several years ago due to concerns about the safety of this process. We have allowed this over the past few months, as a temporary measure but we have now reverted to our usual practice.

Please use  Patient Access or the NHS APP and order your medication online.(The Reception Staff can help you with this)

Alternatively, use the external letterbox to drop in your prescription order (use the printed medication list issued with your prescription and clearly mark which items you wish to order).

The Dispensary is open for collections:            8.30 am – 1.00 pm   &  2.00 pm – 6.00 pm

  • Only one person at a time at Reception.
  • Please stand well back from the counter - behind the floor markers.
  • If you have to wait outside, please queue at a 2m distance from the person ahead of you, and allow space for anyone leaving the building to pass.
  • Please use a contactless card to pay for your medication.

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU ARE COLLECTING MEDICATION OR ATTENDING A BOOKED APPOINTMENT.

If you wish to book an appointment or have a general enquiry, PLEASE DON’T COME IN - Stay at home and Telephone :  01740 631001

Our space inside is very limited and we are doing our best to try and keep everyone safe.

Thank you.

New Government Rules on Face Coverings

We are aware that some patients might be understandably anxious about the Government's recent announcements around the use of face coverings in various public settings.

Please Note: GPs ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO CARRY OUT INDIVIDUAL RISK ASSESSMENTS OR PROVIDE LETTERS OR CERTIFICATES FOR PATIENTS WHO FEEL THEY SHOULD BE EXEMPT FROM WEARING A FACE COVERING.

The Government guidance on exemptions suggests there is no requirement for evidence for exemption, therefore it is sufficient for an individual to self-declare this.

Please look at the follwoing website for further information & guidance:   https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers#face-coverings

and the attached Exemptions list (link below)

Thankyou

Named Accountable GP

Practices are required to allocate all patients a named GP who is nominally responsible for your overall care in the Practice.  If you wish to know who is your named GP, please ask at Reception.  If you wish your named GP to be changed, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Please note  - patients are not restricted to seeing  their named GP and can see any of the GPs in the Practice.
