When you call the surgery to make an appointment, the Receptionist may ask you why you need to be seen; this way she can ensure that she is booking you with the most appropriate person.
This is not a case of the receptionist being nosey! Any information given by you is treated strictly confidentially. However if you feel you do not want to disclose this information then this will be respected.
We NO LONGER take repeat prescriptions over the telephone. If you need to order your prescription please use PATIENT ACCESS or you can bring your repeat slip in to the practice and leave it in the prescription box.
Prescriptions from the Dispensary will take 48 Hours to prepare.
The Dispensary is open from
0800 - 13.00 & 14.00 - 18.00
All Repeat Medicines need to be reviewed at times so you may be asked to speak to the GP or you may need monitoring bloods before they can be issued
Please remember when attending the practice you MUST wear a face mask.
Only ONE person at a time in reception
You should only come to the surgery if you have an appointment or if you are collecting your medication.
If you are waiting outside please remember to keep a 2m distance from the person ahead of you and allow space for anyone leaving the building
We are a Vetran Friendly Practice
Have you ever served in the British Armed Forces? Please let a member of staff know if you have so we can add a code to your medical record to reflect this.
The NHS has a duty to deliver on a number of health commitments in relation to the Armed Forces community, their families and veterans which are set out in the Armed Forces Covenant and the NHS Constitution.
The Armed Forces community should enjoy the same standard of, and access to healthcare as that recieved by any other UK citizen in the area they live. Family members should retain their place on the NHS waiting list, if moved around the UK due to a service person being posted.
Veterans should recieve priority treatment for a condition which relates to their service, subject to clinical lead.
Those injured in service should be cared for in a way that reflects the nation's moral obligation to them, by healthcare professionals who understand the Armed Forces culture.

Named Accountable GP
Practices are required to allocate all patients a named GP who is nominally responsible for your overall care in the Practice. If you wish to know who is your named GP, please ask at Reception. If you wish your named GP to be changed, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Please note - patients are not restricted to seeing their named GP and can see any of the GPs in the Practice.
