Practice Team


This is a full-time working partnership and the doctors are approved by NHS England, Durham Darlington and Tees Area Team to provide General Medical Services, as well as Maternity Care, Contraceptive Services and Child Health Surveillance.


MBBS, MRCGP (Female), qualified Newcastle 2007.


MBBS, BMedSci, MRCP(UK), MRCGP, (Male),qualified Nottingham 2006.


MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG (Male), qualified Sri Lanka 2004.


Jenny, Tricia & Angela specialise in the management and monitoring of patients with long term (chronic) conditions, family planning, cervical cytology (smear tests), weight management, smoking cessation, and many other clinical services. They have a wide range of clinical skills, providing patients with advice on health care, health promotion and disease prevention. Please contact reception to make an appointment with the nurse.

Healthcare Assistants

Liz will be pleased to help with blood tests, routine blood pressure checks, dressings, new patient health checks and well person health checks. Please contact reception to make an appointment.


Paula is responsible for a variety of Practice administrative work, as well as the daily running of the surgery computer system, data quality and data security within the Practice. Miranda is responsible for scanning and coding hospital correspondence, general administrative and secretarial duties, data quality and IT support.


Karen, Denise, Pam & Barbara, our Receptionist/Dispensary Assistants will be pleased to arrange appointments and repeat prescriptions for you and also help you with any queries.


Sheila deals with all hospital communications, including hospital referrals, in addition to general administrative duties and correspondence.


Debbie & Jane will be pleased to arrange repeat prescriptions for you and also help you with any medication and dispensary queries.

District Nurses

The District Nursing Team visit patients requiring nursing care at home. They can be contacted via our reception staff.

Health Visitor

The Health Visitor Team are particularly concerned with the care of pre-school children and families. They will arrange hearing tests and development checks of all pre-school children. The reception staff will advise on how to contact the Health Visitor.


The Community Midwife covers all aspects of antenatal and maternity care and can be contacted via reception.
